As I complete my thirty second year in practice at St. Vincent’s Hospital, my mind is flooded with reflections of colleagues, patients, and healthcare. I entered medical school in the summer of 1977, so for the past 40 years, I have spent my days reading, studying and practicing medicine.  I would start from the very beginning and do it all again, if this were possible. What a joy it has been to have shared life with you through my medical practice for these many years.  Recently, I have received texts, calls, and letters from many patients concerned about my recent absence from work for a medical leave, due to a cervical disc issue.  It has become evident during these past 8 weeks, that it is time to stop my clinical practice effective December 31, 2017.

This has been a very difficult decision for me.  Each of you have been overwhelmingly supportive, making medical practice so rewarding for me on a daily basis.  And I have worked with so many wonderful physicians and staff, all at one great hospital.  Allowing me to share in your healthcare and in the joys of bringing new life into your families has been a source of great happiness for me. Thank you for your support for so many years.  Feel free to send me a note to: P.O.Box 43447, Birmingham AL. 35243.

Please know that your medical records are safely on file at our office, and I hope that you will continue your healthcare at Page, Hudson & Taylor Gynecology at St. Vincent's.  If you already have an appointment, every effort will be made to keep your appointment on the same day and time along with any schedule testing. You can also make your appointment by calling (205) 939-2806 or email info@pagehudsontaylor.com.  Appointments may be made with Brenda Taylor M.D., Gretchen McCreless M.D., Tomeka Roberts M.D. and Erin Ponds, C.N.P.  This marvelous medical team will continue to provide excellence in your healthcare.
