• How do I get an appointment? You may call (205) 939.2806 to speak to an associate who will be happy to assist you. You may also click HERE to fill out the appointment form.

• How can I have my old records transferred to Page, Hudson & Taylor Gynecology at St. Vincent’s? Please click HERE to download the Medical Information Release Form. Complete the form and email, mail or fax it to your current provider.

• What are the advantages of coming to a Gynecology only practice? Generally, waiting times are shorter because your physician will not have to leave unexpectedly for a delivery. Most OB-GYN practices require a larger number of physicians and staff. Our smaller office and staff want to experience a more personal environment. Because we are focused on the non-pregnant woman, we are dedicated to staying up to date with the most advanced techniques in healthcare. All of our physicians are trained in using the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.

• What should I expect at my first appointment? Expect that we are excited to provide you care in a warm and friendly environment. Our physicians and staff are highly trained and want to assist you in making decisions about your healthcare needs. We will gather information from you that is stored electronically for easy access and perform a physical exam if needed. We will make an assessment of your needs and direct you as to how to be in the best health possible. To ensure that you also have quick and easy access to results, this information will be published in a personal and private patient portal for your review.

• How long does it take to get an appointment? Each day, our physicians hold a few spots in their schedules for work-in patients with problems. If your primary physician is unable to see you, then any of our Board Certified physicians would be happy to see you to eliminate any waiting for you. Routine yearly exams can usually be scheduled within a few days.

• Can my mammogram be done with my annual exam? We have made an arrangement with St. Vincent’s North Tower Imaging that will allow our patients to go there immediately following their annual exam visit. There your advanced digital mammogram will be performed and reviewed by a radiologist. An onsite radiologist may help prevent your return for a follow up test.

• How can I get my test results? There is a secure link on our website that will enable you to follow a few prompts to get your lab tests at any time of the day or night. The results of the tests will be reported on the site as soon as they are available.

• How can I get my pap results? By use of a secure connection through our web site you can check on the results of your pap smear within 14 days. Use the information that you will receive with your annual visit to securely get your results. This feature will be available to you 24 hours a day.

• If my doctor is busy or in surgery, could I be seen by another physician? Any of our physicians would be happy to see you and address your problems. Our goals are to try to make your visit have as little waiting time as possible for you, and for you to have had a pleasant experience with us.

• Do you accept Medicare? While several physician practices are no longer accepting Medicare, we will continue to see Medicare patients. However, none of our physicians are a Medicaid provider.

• What Forms should I complete prior to my appointment? For your convenience, we have provided some common patient forms. Please click HERE to fill out the necessary forms prior to your visit with us and email them to info@pagehudsontaylor.com.

• How do I schedule Surgery? It is easy. After you have met with your doctor and reviewed all information, call (205) 939.2806 and our staff will be happy to help you. Please have available your insurance information, name of surgery to be performed, name of doctor and a range of dates that will accommodate your schedule. For your convenience you may also email us at info@pagehudsontaylor.com.

• What types of Insurance Companies do you accept and how can I pay my bill? Most insurances can be billed directly through our electronic medical records provider. We do ask that you be prepared to make the proper copayment when you
check-in for your visit. Your insurance company requires that this be obtained from you and we do not have the authority to waive a copayment. It is your responsibility to call your insurance company and find out what your co-payment is. You may pay for this with cash, debit or credit card at the time of your visit. Some insurance plans may require that you get authorization from them before you visit us. Since this differs by plan, please check with your insurance company so you can receive complete benefits from your coverage.

If there is a balance on your account after your insurance carrier has paid their portion, you may pay the balance by cash, debit or credit card. You may wish to click HERE and use the convenient “Online Bill Pay” feature that will allow you to send your secure credit card payment online. At Page, Hudson & Taylor we participate in many managed care plans and see patients with traditional insurance. See the detailed list of plans below for your reference.
